Privacy Policy

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

The personal information collected during your enrolment process will be used for billing, identification, authentication and reporting purposes. Aggregated non-personal data collected by 121 Driver Training may be used for research, service improvement and website development.

121 Driver Training will not share your personal information with anyone except to provide the requested services, protect our rights, assist with a lawful investigation, and comply with legal obligations.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to enrol in a course or complete a transaction, we imply that you consent to us collecting and using it for that specific reason only.

If we need your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your express consent or give you an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If, after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at [email protected].

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

Your personal information, along with your enrolment and other course-related information, such as the outcome of your training, will be shared with ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) to meet our legal reporting obligations as a Registered Training Organisation. You can check ASQA’s Privacy Policy to see how they handle and use this information.

We may also disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the way we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal information.

SECTION 4 – social media

121 Driver Training may tag you in a photo on social media or include your Facebook profile photo if you leave a testimonial. You can request for the photo not to be displayed or shared.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Information sharing with subcontractors providing support services, such as customer service, is permitted but only as necessary to fulfil those services. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies concerning the information we are required to provide for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.
